Mayco SP-213 Speckled Grapel glaze gives a purple color with dark blue, almost black speckles when fired at a low temperatures. With the increase of firing temperature the glaze lightens while speckless become bigger and turn to navy blue. Glazes from the Mayco Speckled Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. They can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
