Mayco UG-85 Orange Sorbet underglaze gives a light orange color when fired at low temperatures, which darkens as the firing temperature increases. With reduction firing, the color becomes brighter. To obtain full coverage, apply 2-3 layers of the underglaze. For watercolor effect dilute the underglaze with water. The use of transparent, matte or glossy glaze will intensify the color. The firing temperature of Mayco Fundamentals underglazes ranges from 1000°C to 1300°C, however, the colors may change as the firing temperature increases.
