AMACO V-380 Violet underglaze is a light plum color that is soft at 1050°C, darkens at 1200°C, and becomes a deep lilac color that begins to burn out at 1300°C. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
