AMACO V-343 Chartreuse underglaze is a lime green color that is very bright at 1050°C, softens to a mint green at 1200°C, and darkens slightly at 1300°C. A clear glaze accentuates the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
