AMACO V-313 Red Brown underglaze is a warm cocoa color that is reddish at 1050°C. The color darkens at 1050°C, and becomes chocolatey at 1300°C. A clear glaze deepens the color of the underglaze significantly at any temperature. To ensure full coverage, apply 2-3 coats of the underglaze on leather-hard or bisque-fired clay. The AMACO Velet Underglazes are highly pigmented and will give saturated colors in a wide firing range.
