Mayco SW-514 Sage Gloss is a highly-pigmented, gloss glaze. The highly stable qualities of this glaze make it ideal for design work and full opaque coverage at mid-range temperatures. Color shifts to bluish green as the reduction firing temperature increases. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
