Mayco SW-222 Green Jasper is a glossy, transparent white glaze that breaks over texture. Contains metallic green and blue crystals. Base color is stable, crystals can create movement. The base remains and crystals shift to metallic red as the reduction firing temperature increases. Light application is recommended for cone 10 redyction firing.The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
