Mayco SW-180 Desert Dusk high-fire glaze creates a satin, amber surface with cream accents. In reduction firing, as the temperature increases, multi-colored accents appear on its surface. The glazes from the Mayco Stoneware series are designed for firing in the temperature range of 1200-1300°C, in both oxidation and reduction atmospheres. Stir them well before use and apply on bisque in layers with a brush. The final appearance of the glaze will depend on the clay body used, the number of layers and the firing curve.
