AMACO C-36 Iron glaze gives a glossy medium brown that pools darker brown and accents textured ware like the ancient celadon glazes it is meant to imitate. The glazes from the AMACO Celadon series are pigment-based and therefore can be mixed together to obtain your own shades. For best results apply 2-3 layers, allowing the glaze to dry inbetween. The Celadon glazes are very stable and work perfectly as a base in combination with more flowing glazes, e.g. from the AMACO Potter's Choice or Mayco Stoneware series.
