Mayco SP-245 Speckled My Blue Heaven glaze gives a light, turquoise color with dark blue specks when fired at a low temperatures. With the increase of firing temperature the glaze color doesn’t change and specks turn into bigger blue spots. Glazes from the Mayco Speckled Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. They can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
