Mayco SP-275 Speckled Orange-A-Peel glaze gives an orange color with smal black and bigger white specks when fired at a low temperatures. With the increase of firing temperature the glaze lightens, white specks disappear and black specks become bigger. Glazes from the Mayco Speckled Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. They can be applied on leather-hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
