Mayco SP-231 Speckled The Blues glaze gives a green color with black specks when fired at a low temperatures. With the increase of firing temperature the glaze darkens and specks turn into dark spots. Glazes from the Mayco Speckled Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. They can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
