Mayco SP-227 Speckled Sour Apple glaze gives a light green color with turquoise specks when fired at a low temperatures. With the increase of firing temperature the glaze lightens and specks become bigger. Glazes from the Mayco Speckled Stroke & Coat series are stable, glossy and highly pigmented, giving vivid, opaque colors when applied in 2-3 layers. They can be applied on leather hard clay, bisque or stoneware-fired clay.
