When fired at a low temperatures, Mayco EL-144 Dark Amethyst glaze creates a shiny, chocolate-silver surface. As the firing temperature increases, the color changes to translucent, dark brown with gray discolorations. Mayco Elements series glazes should be applied in layers with a brush. For best results, apply 3-4 layers of the glaze.
